Summer Nocturnes at the Jardins de Colette

For the third year running, the Rétro Garden Party is coming to the Jardins de Colette! The décor and costumes will transport you back to the Roaring Twenties! Get into the spirit, enjoy a concert and, just like Hercule Poirot, investigate to solve the mysteries!

The Festival de la Vézère is also coming to the Jardins de Colette and is putting on a unique evening’s entertainment.

Wednesday 15 July: Classical music with Jean-François Zygel at 8.00 pm.

JEAN-FRANÇOIS ZYGEL is renowned as one of the finest specialists in live musical accompaniment to silent films.

Two events are planned in the gardens: a guided walk at 5.00 pm and a concert at 8.00 pm. Tickets for the concert are available on the Vézère Festival website.

Garden Retro Party and giant cluédo

Every Wednesday from 15 July to 12 August, the Jardins de Colette, in partnership with the Gaillard Academy, invite you to step back in time to the Roaring Twenties, in 1924 to be exact! During a big engagement party, a guest is found dead. Problem: no one knew him by the same name. Who could have murdered him? With what weapon? But above all: who is he? It's up to you to investigate in the Gardens to find the suspects and the evidence left behind. We need your help, the party will have to wait! You've got 1? hours to do it.

Play slots for these evening events run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm (last entry). The Gardens close at 11pm.

This year's concerts are scheduled to take place from 8pm to 9.30pm and will plunge you into the atmosphere of the Roaring Twenties!

Please note: The labyrinth (duration 45min - 1h) is not accessible in the evening as there is no lighting. We advise you to do it before 7pm to get the most out of it.

Why not pop into the tea room, which is offering a special selection of charcuterie and cheese platters alongside its usual menu (unique ice creams, crêpes and gourmet waffles)?
If you wish, you can attend just the concert (8 pm) and make yourself comfortable on the tea room terrace. You’ll then benefit from the evening event rate.
