The Festival de la Vézère irrigates the Brive region and allows our senses to blossom, hungry for virtuosity! In July and August 2025, the Festival will celebrate its 44th anniversary.

The Festival de la Vézère, over 40 years of music... of love and passion!

Nothing predestined Isabelle de Lasteyrie du Saillant to one day become the conductor of the Festival de la Vézère. And yet, over 40 years ago, she began this crazy adventure with her husband Guy. It's been a rollercoaster ride, punctuated here and there by great and small joys, but also by a lot of uncertainty. After so many years, the Festival is still a dream come true for informed audiences and young initiates alike. The recipe for success? A boundless love for the music that always strives for beauty. A land she thought inaccessible as a child, but which turns out to be universal as soon as you listen. Listen... and you'll open up to a whole new world, a sensitive, sensory odyssey that's within everyone's reach!

This event is now under the direction of Diane du Saillant, who is particularly committed to developing the remarkable work already accomplished by her parents. More than ever, she wants to focus on youth and experimentation.
