• 13 November 2026 at the Théâtre de Brive: Jean-Paul GASPARIAN, piano & Diana ADAMYAN.
  This recital brings together the French pianist Jean-Paul Gasparian, renowned for his sparkling style, and the young Armenian violinist Diana Adamyan, aged 26, known for the intensity of her performances. Their programme of sonatas for piano and violin spans three eras: Beethoven’s poetic Sonata No. 5 ‘Spring’ (18th century), César Franck’s famous sonata, which inspired Proust (late 19th century), and Debussy’s final sonata, at once poignant and tender (early 20th century). These major works from the repertoire will be interspersed with Armenian miniatures, reflecting the shared cultural heritage of the two artists, with a nod to *Origins*, Gasparian’s latest album dedicated to Armenian composers. • 1 December 2026 at the Brive Conservatoire Auditorium: Alexandre COLLARD, horn & Nicolas Royez, piano.
  This recital invites you to discover the richness and gentleness of the horn, with horn player Alexandre Collard and pianist Nicolas Royez. Principal horn of the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, Alexandre Collard was awarded First Prize at the 2018 Prague Spring International Competition, where he also received seven other prizes. Having spent ten years with the Lille National Orchestra, he performs as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles, and founded the Ensemble Polygones. Nicolas Royez, trained by great masters such as Alain Planès and Eric Le Sage, is a chamber pianist who founded the Musique au bois festival and teaches at the Geneva University of Music. Their programme features works by Dukas, Strauss, Glière and Camille Pépin before the interval, followed by Schumann, Jean Françaix and Hindemith in the second half. At 8.00

• 19 January 2027: QUATUOR MAGENTA, string quartet at the Sophie Dessus Auditorium in Uzerche.
  Described as “a model of technical rigour, elegance and musical excellence” (Emmanuelle Giuliani for *La Croix*, 2024), the MAGENTA QUARTET was formed in 2021 and has since performed on France’s most prestigious stages, from the Philharmonie de Paris to the Radio France Festival. • 2 April 2027 at the Théâtre de Brive: Sophia LIU, piano.
  At just nineteen years of age – having already won prizes in major international competitions from the age of fifteen – she captivates audiences with the clarity and transparency of her playing, her consummate technique and the maturity of her interpretations. Her programme is devoted to Chopin and Liszt, her favourite repertoire, which she featured on an album released in 2025. On the one hand, the lyricism and nostalgia of Chopin, notably featuring Ballade No. 1, Nocturne Op. 9 No. 3, Scherzo No. 3 and the world-famous ‘Heroic’ Polonaise, renowned as one of the most difficult pieces in the repertoire. On the other, Liszt’s passionate and flamboyant piano style, ranging from the Faust Waltz to the Hungarian Rhapsody No. 12 and the Spanish Fantasy. Balakirev’s ‘Islamey’ rounds off the programme.
