Le Saillant

Le Saillant is a hamlet straddling the Vézère, with one foot in the commune of Voutezac and the other firmly planted in Allassac. A magnificent bridge links the two banks, at the mouth of the Vézère gorges, downstream of the hydroelectric dam. A centre for the great outdoors, the places that make up Le Saillant are the starting points for numerous mountain bike trails and orienteering courses!
