Festive markets
These friendly markets take place in July and August, usually starting at 5pm in various villages in the Brive region. The idea is to put farm and craft producers in direct contact with consumers. Some of them carry the "Marchés de Producteurs de Pays" label, issued by the Chambers of Agriculture, a guarantee of quality. Others, just as festive, are organised by local associations.
But that's not all! Not only can you buy excellent home-grown or home-made produce, but you can also eat it on the spot. Can you smell the ventrèche in your nostrils?
Festive markets: brave and responsible!
- The promise of fresh, local produce, with no carbon footprint!
- A summertime event that brings a whole village to life
- Large tables for more conviviality
- Musical entertainment to keep the party going
- And if you want to be cheerful and responsible, bring your own containers (glasses, plates, cutlery) and don't forget your napkins! We'll be touring them in Corrèze and beyond!

Tip Fun and festive markets
It's about time! At last there are markets that don't start at dawn. They prefer late afternoons when the summer sun, after a good day, thinks about taking a rest. Quite the opposite of you, who arrive in great shape. All those delicious farm products make your mouth water. You can take some away with you, of course, but even better, you can eat them on the spot. Good people are on hand to cook, fry or grill whatever you fancy. And all to music. It's a party!
