Halloween at Colette Gardens

During the autumn holidays, come and celebrate Halloween at the Jardins de Colette from 26 October to 3 November 2024!

Just 10 minutes from Brive-la-Gaillarde, enjoy a monstrously entertaining programme to share with family and friends in a park decorated entirely in the colours of Halloween, devised by the Jardins team.

Every year, the Jardins de Brive-la-Gaillarde put on a range of child-friendly events to mark the occasion.

During the Halloween festivities, the Jardins de Colette are putting on a show for all the family at the open-air Kiosk:

Special Halloween treasure hunt

This paper-based treasure hunt runs from 26 October to 3 November 2024 from 10am to 6pm. Once you've solved the riddles, you'll be entitled to a reward!

Halloween make-up

Halloween means dressing up and transforming yourself. Make-up artists will be on hand in the Gardens for the occasion, offering free make-up sessions.

Pumpkin decoration

Pumpkins that scare, pumpkins that smile.... You're the artist! Les Jardins de Colette are offering pumpkin decorating workshops (for a fee) during the All Saints' Day holidays. You decorate them and take them home with you.

Special Halloween tickets

Remember to book your tickets in advance to avoid waiting too long at the entrance on the day of your visit. Take a good look at the programme for the different days: some days include make-up and/or shows, but not all. Remember to select the right date (in the booking module top left) so that we can welcome you in the best conditions. Thank you in advance and see you soon!

During the school holidays, the Gardens are open every day from 10am to 6pm. Don't forget to bring your picnic to enjoy the day's activities.
Tickets are available on site or online from the Jardins de Colette website.
On show days (27, 30 and 31 October and 1 November), the price is higher (from €8.5 for children aged over 3 to €12 for adults).

Garden Halloween Party on 26 October

To round off the Halloween programme, the Jardins de Colette are offering a special evening party! The bravest of you can take part in this one-hour escape game full of surprises.....

From 6pm onwards, there will be a number of slots on offer, so you and the whole family can join in the fun. Bookings must be made by telephone only: 05.55.86.75.36

Family dressed up for Halloween at Jardins de colette

The Jardins de Colette in Varetz invite you to combine literature and botany. It was in the elegant château of Castel Novel that the writer, renowned for her love of nature, lived with her husband. Are you ready? As well as the superb gardens, a butterfly-shaped labyrinth will make you lose your compass.
