These balloons attached to a basket have always been the stuff of great and fanciful adventures in the air. So why not book a first flight in a hot-air balloon and discover the rolling countryside of the south of the Corrèze while getting close to nature? You'll be carried away by the peace and quiet and the breathtaking panoramas.

- We're not going to lie, we can't say that hot-air ballooning is pollution '0'. Nevertheless, without excessive noise, and using hot air to move around, hot-air ballooning remains the least polluting way of travelling through the air.
- Luxury, calm and pleasure! Hot-air balloons fly at relatively low altitudes, allowing passengers to admire the beauty of natural landscapes without disturbing them.
How does a hot-air balloon flight work?
The experience begins with a transfer to the take-off site. You will then take part in setting up the balloon. After take-off, the flight takes place in total freedom, at the mercy of the wind, for around 1 hour.
Then it's time to land and bag the balloon. To recover from your emotions, the balloonist invites you to share a toast and gives you your certificate of ascent. Finally, you will be taken back to the original meeting point.

Where do hot-air balloon flights depart from?
Corrèze Montgolfière offers flights from Turenne,Objat and Jardins Sothys. Other departure points are also possible. However, it is best to discuss these with the service provider.
When is the best time to take a hot-air balloon flight?
In winter, flights can be made throughout the day, provided the weather is good. On sunny days, the best times are early in the morning (for better light) and in the evening (2 hours before sunset).
How long does a hot-air balloon flight last?
The flight takes about 1 hour. However, you should allow 3 hours in total for the transfer, assembly and inflation of the balloon.

The sun has just risen and the balloon has finally been inflated. Hop in! You jump into the basket. A flick of the burner and the balloon takes off gently, before giving way to a gentle breeze. Under your feet, fields, forests, rivers, villages and castles pass by... Even in the cinema, you've never seen such a majestic travelling shot. What a baptism!
