Museums in Brive
You can discover Brive-La-Gaillarde's rich cultural and historical heritage at the Musée Labenche d'art et d'histoire. Housed in a magnificent 16th-century town house, this museum is famous for its collection of tapestries and features exhibitions of art, archaeology and local history. The Musée Edmond-Michelet, dedicated to the great Resistance fighter of the Second World War, bears witness to the Resistance and deals with the Deportation. Finally, the Denoix Distillery, a Living Heritage Company since 1839, houses a museum retracing its rich past.

Square Charles Boudy (near the post office) has a children's play area and picnic area. The Parc des Perrières, high above the town centre, is the town's green lung, covering 17 hectares and offering a wide range of activities (3.3 km of hiking trails, orienteering course with 41 markers, bike park, permanent disc golf course with 18 baskets, basketball court, mini zip line, slide, children's play area, etc.). As you stroll along the greenway, you can also enjoy children's play areas and a pumptrack on the Ile du Roi.
