Terra aventura: an ephemeral trail in Turenne

Publié le 18 April 2025 par su_laetis

Ever heard of Terra Aventura?

Some 600 geocaching routes in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region... and a handful of ephemeral routes every year: the "Zaméla"!

And do you know what? In 2026, Zaméla, THE POÏZ of ephemeral courses, has decided to return to Terre Gaillarde! And it's in Travassac that she's decided to set down her bags from Sunday 1 to Sunday 23 August 2026 inclusive.

This route, which is one of the winners of the "I've created my own Tèrra Aventura cache" competition, was proposed by Les Crocos D'Isle.

The Travassac route

We'll tell you more very soon

  • 🤩 Reminder: this year the Zaméla badge you'll find in your water bottles will be a special "15 years of Tèrra Aventura".

  • The little zecolo gesture!
And don't forget! We're also taking the opportunity to help nature survive the ravages of Z, and we'll be picking up any rubbish we find along the way. If you come with proof of your good deed (a photo will suffice), the Tourist Office team will give you a Zecolo badge!

What is Terra Aventura?

Tèrra Aventura, born in the Limousin, is a geocaching game that offers over 600 routes in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and has already attracted over 3 million players!

Its unusual and fun routes allow you to discover the tourist attractions of our region with your family or friends! Nature, heritage, history, gastronomy... there's a wide variety of themes to choose from for each original walk.

The Poï'z, the game's emblematic little creatures, accompany young and old along the way. As well as your calves, you'll need to use your brains to answer the riddles that will lead you to the treasure. The key is a little badge to collect, with the effigy of Poï'Z to catch!

There are no fewer than 10 trails in the Gaillarde region! We love it!
