Museum Night will take place on 23 May 2026: a unique opportunity to discover or rediscover the museums in your town or region in a festive and convivial way, sharing a cultural moment with other art and heritage enthusiasts.

What is Museum Night?

Museum Night is an annual cultural event that takes place in many countries around the world, usually in May. On this night, museums open their doors to the public free of charge in the evening, offering the chance to discover their collections and exhibitions in a different way.

On Museum Night, museums often offer special activities for visitors, such as guided tours, shows, children's workshops and film screenings. This night is also an opportunity for museums to present their collections in an original and fun way, using light shows or artistic installations, for example.
