Founded in 1962 in Brive-la-Gaillarde, Robert Bach is a veritable institution in the world of butchery, charcuterie and traditional cured meats. For over 60 years, this family-run business has passed on its exceptional expertise from generation to generation, combining respect for tradition with modern innovation.

Each member of the family adds his or her own personal touch while preserving the family heritage, a perfect balance between tradition and modernity.

World recognition for the French team

On 31 March 2025, Christophe Ip Yan Fat, captain of the French team, and his team distinguished themselves on the international stage by winning 14 distinctions, including 9 world titles and 2 places in the "All Stars" team of the world's best butchers. A feat that marks the pinnacle of an impressive career for Christophe, while raising the profile of the House of Robert Bach on the international stage.

"I'm proud of the team," says Christophe, visibly moved by this historic victory. "We finished on top of the world. It was an unforgettable moment for the butcher from Brive-la-Gaillarde, who is retiring from international competitions after this final victory. His apprentice, Dylan Colin, is now continuing the adventure and embodies the future of the butcher's trade, carrying on his passion and expertise.
