Saturday 12 October at 8.30pm Salle de la Grange Rouge, Turenne.
Caussinades is a contraction of Causse and rigolades. The Festival was launched in 2017 as part of the famous Belveyre Fair. At that time, not so long ago, the organisers were thinking of an original complementary event. With no comedy festival in the area, the idea was born.
The aim of the association Les Caussinades is to organise a travelling comedy festival featuring a number of young artists, but also to put the spotlight on the beautiful villages of the Causse Corrézien.
Over the years, the Festival has performed in Noailles, Turenne and Saint Pantaléon de Larche, until Covid came along. Today, François Picard, President of the association, would like to settle in one of the villages of the Causse, whose headquarters are in Nespouls.
Les Caussinades has already welcomed some of the best-known names on the comedy scene, including Thierry Garcia, Daniel Camus, Olivier Lejeune and François Gaudéon....
Pierre Aucaignewill be in Turenne on 12 October to present his show "Cessez".
Here we find him in a breathtaking show, juggling his mythical characters: the striker, Momo, a model cook, Fernand the fearsome dog handler...
All are gathered around theatre director Gilles Patrick Sabaillon (GPS to his friends) for a charity evening in aid of... dogs.
An hour and a half of jubilant, totally off-the-wall entertainment!
