Summer events in Garavet

The Garavet site in Allassac, on the banks of the Vézère, has been given a facelift and now hosts a range of tourist and leisure activities throughout the summer.
This ideally shaded area will appeal to families and groups of friends alike.
Sports and leisure activities at Garavet
Supervised activities from 14 July to 25 August 2024
- Archery every Thursday from 2pm to 3pm and from 3pm to 4pm
- Kakak every Friday from 2pm to 3pm and from 3pm to 4pm
- Paddle every Tuesday and Sunday from 2pm to 3pm and from 3pm to 4pm

Inflatable games on site
There's a dedicated area with inflatables all summer long. Children can have fun in complete safety.
A new children's play area
New play equipment has been installed in an enclosed, secure area, guaranteed to delight the youngest visitors.
A fitness area
There are now three fitness machines for teenagers and adults.
A motorhome park:
Set up at the entrance to the site, with natural areas providing shade and peace and quiet, it has welcomed many tourists since it opened.
There are also picnic tables and benches on the site.
Garavet hosts concerts and shows
As part of the"Jeudis de l'été à Allassac" (Summer Thursdays in Allassac), the Garavet site hosts 4 evenings:
Thursday 1 August: Melting Pot concert . 100% Latino tropical show. From 8pm at Garavet. Free admission. Catering on site from 7pm.
Thursday 8 August: Four B. Big band with 20 musicians for a guaranteed festive atmosphere. Free admission. In Garavet. Catering on site from 7pm. Free concert.
Thursday 15 August: Appelle tes copains. French songs revival. Catering on site from 7pm. In Garavet. Free concert.
Thursday 22 August: Old School. Cover versions from the 60s to today. Catering on site from 7pm. In Garavet. Free admission.
