To mark the upcoming Heritage Days, we've put together a selection of child-friendly outings that are ideal for the whole family! Culture, history, creativity and games are all on the agenda this weekend as we celebrate our national heritage.
A painting disappeared in November 1943 from the Jeu de Paume Museum in Paris. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, will be to search for clues at the heart of the "Rose Valland. En quête de l'art spolié" exhibition to find clues about the missing work so that it can be returned to its rightful owner.

During a guided tour! On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September, there will be two guided tours at 11am and 4pm. It's a chance for the whole family to relive the life of the writer Colette, who lived for several years in Corrèze (at the château de Castel Novel). Children's games, a plant maze and a tea room will add to the fun of this cultural outing.

Why was the dam built in this location? Who built it? How does it work? Once through the gate, climb up onto the dam and discover the history of one of the oldest hydroelectric plants in the département. By the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire, in partnership with EDF.

To mark the 2024 European Heritage Days, Hautefort Castle is offering a reduced rate with free admission to a number of events:
