If you want to discover magical places, ask your parents to show you around a cave or abyss. There's no shortage of them in the region!

There's no shortage of animal parks in Terres Gaillardes. Insects, reptiles, fish, monkeys, eagles and animals of all kinds will amaze you.

Climbing and adventure courses in the trees

If you're an adventurer, you'll love the various acrobranch and climbing courses on offer. Not all are open all year round, but many are open during the school holidays. You'll find all the information you need in the Accrobranche and Climbing section.

Game books for youngsters

Play books are available at theTourist Office (in Brive) to help you discover the local heritage, crafts and know-how in a fun way. Download them here.

Geocaching

Get off the beaten track and take part in a high-tech treasure hunt in Brive, Ayen, Saint-Robert, Donzenac, Chartier-Ferrière, Sainte-Féréole, Vars-sur-Roseix and Cublac.

Armed with a GPS or smartphone, set off in search of almost 100 caches hidden in the 4 corners of the Terres Gaillardes. It's up to you, little adventurer!

Hiking

Estivaux, Lissac-sur-Couze, Yssandon and now Cosnac: no more dragging your feet on these walks! Become a guide-explorer with the help of the Rando Inspector and discover all the treasures of the Gaillard region. Swimming

We're lucky enough to be able to have fun in the water all year round, with indoor water parks to keep you entertained whatever the weather. During the summer season, there are also open-air pools and natural swimming areas such as Lac du Causse. Depending on when you're coming, check out our Swimming section.

Activities on the water

Whether on calm waters (lakes) or rivers, you're sure to have fun in the water. Canoeing, kayaking, paddling.... are just some of the water sports you can enjoy. Please note that these activities are generally reserved for those aged 7 and over who know how to swim. The gardens

There are plenty of gardens in the region, and all of them offer guided tours: booklets, play structures, themed tours .... You can discover beautiful gardens, have fun and get some fresh air!
