Ideas for holidays with teenagers

Sometimes it's hard to go on holiday with teenagers and figure out how to keep them occupied. But you can't do it without Brive! At Brive Tourisme, we've come up with a few ideas for activities to make sure that your stay doesn't turn into a mess and that your children leave Brive feeling rejuvenated.

Outdoor activities for teenagers

What better way to get your children away from their screens than to take part in an activity in the great outdoors, without a telephone network (we're joking, of course - our network works just fine!)?

To start with, we recommend a short bike ride to discover the many footpaths that criss-cross the Brive area.

If your teenagers have had enough of pedalling, suggest an archery or orienteering session, activities that will require rigour and concentration. In the same vein, you could try one of the many Tèrra Aventura geocaching courses, 2.0 treasure hunts that are sure to please your teenagers.

The more adventurous can also try their hand ataccrobranche (tree climbing) and climbing to get a better view of the sumptuous landscapes that surround them.

When it comes to water sports, there are the great classics such as canoeing, kayaking and paddle-boarding, not forgetting of course swimming, and here is a list of sites not to be missed.

Indoor activities for teenagers

The weather's not cooperating? No problem! There's no shortage of indoor activities in Brive's leisure centres.

For example, you can challenge your offspring to a game of laser tag and show them that you're not so "has-been", or get the whole family thinking with an escape game.

And don't hesitate to take a look at our ideas for visits. Don't despair, some of them are sure to catch your children's eye!
