Great ways to keep cool

Need to cool off in this summer heat? Don't worry about drying out: follow our 5 tips to revive your skin! We take really good care of you...

Enjoy a terrace

In the heat of the day, there's nothing better than enjoying a nice shady terrace with an ice cream sundae or a refreshing drink. Many Gaillard terraces are ready to welcome you.

Want to swim?

The choice is yours. If you're a pool or aquatic centre enthusiast, you'll find plenty to do in the many water parks dotted around the region. Pure pleasure! Young and old alike will have the time of their lives. Other pools are open at weekends. Take a look at our article on where to swim.

If you prefer to swim in a natural setting, head for the unmissable Causse lake. As well as swimming, you can enjoy drinks and ice creams sold at Le Moulin. Enjoy them with your feet in the sand or in the water: the best!

For a refreshing break in the heart of nature: soak your feet at Le Saillant, with its small play area and table tennis tables.

Activities on the water

There's no shortage of them: between Causse lake, Coiroux lake and the Vézère and Dordogne rivers nearby, you'll be able to indulge in all kinds of water sports: canoeing, rowing, paddle...

Activities away from the heat

We often think of the cinema during a heatwave, but there are other activities available: laser games, virtual reality or, if you're at least three adventurers, why not try an escape game? You'll be sheltered from the heat and we promise you 60 minutes of pure adrenaline. So, are you ready to solve the riddles and get out before the end of the game?
