At Brive Tourisme, we are inclusive and we don't leave anyone out... We are aware of the additional difficulties that poorly adapted infrastructures can add to the daily lives of people living with a disability.

Legislation now requires sites and establishments open to the public to comply with standardised facilities. But we know that sometimes, because of a lack of resources or space, what looks good on paper is less so in reality...

Accessibility to our reception office

The Tourist Office is located on the Place du 14 Juillet in Brive, next to the Municipal Theatre, a 5-minute walk from the town centre. 3 PRM parking spaces are available on Place du 14 juillet. PRM toilets under the Halle Brassens, place du 14 juillet.

Brive Tourisme has listed a number of sites and activities accessible to people with reduced mobility. These sites do not necessarily have recognised labels, and this document has been drawn up based on our knowledge of what we have to offer. The Tourist Office is able to offer guided tours of Brive-La-Gaillarde and Turenne town centres adapted for the mentally disabled.

Hearing impaired

Guided tour of Brive, both orally and in sign language

For the first time, Brive Tourist Office offered a guided tour of Brive with simultaneous interpretation in sign language on 2 December.

Alice, a sign language interpreter, accompanied our guide Ani on a 1? hour walk through the heart of Brive la Gaillarde.

Find out more about recognised establishments with the "Tourisme et Handicap" label, which guarantees the quality of facilities, even if this greatly reduces the number of offers.

Don't hesitate to let us know if you notice any real difficulties in certain establishments. We will try to help them take better account of the constraints involved, or we will remove them from this list.
