Cocktail made in Brive : La Denoiselle
La Denoiselle, a 100% bold cocktail, wants to take on the Mojito and the Spritz!
The family distillery, which has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label, combines tradition with modernity.
Denoix, a preserved tradition:
With 180 years of know-how, the distillery works with respect for a culinary heritage. Sylvie Denoix and Laurent Vieillefosse are the last master liqueur-makers to distil as they did in the 19th century, just as their great-grandfather, Louis Denoix, did. Today, their daughter and her husband will soon be joining the team, so the 5th generation is assured!
Always a family affair...
In 1907, Alberto Santos-Dumont designed and launched the 1st light aircraft in history, called the "Demoiselle" after the lightness of a dragonfly. In 1958, Elie Denoix, a Brive liquor merchant and aviation enthusiast, launched his 1st "Denoiselle" aircraft in tribute to his favourite pilot. 50 years later, Sylvie, a liqueur maker in Brive, launched her 1st "Denoiselle" cocktail in tribute to her grandfather.

Parisian and Japanese bartenders appreciate authentic, bold products. They have been using the "Fenouillette" (the Denoiselle's key ingredient) in their cocktails for years. Denoix's dream is for Denoiselle to become the emblem of Brive and to counter the Mojito and the Spritz, which aren't even French!
Denoiselle was conquering the skies, now it's conquering the taste buds and hearts of the French!
This drink should be consumed in moderation....
