Chestnut cake
Here's a delicious dessert recipe that combines chestnuts and chocolate to comfort you on cold autumn days.
The ingredients
- 1kg de châtaignes
- 1 gousse de vanille
- Lait
- 250g de beurre
- 150g de sucre en poudre
- 250g de chocolat noir
- Temps de préparation : 20 min
- Temps de cuisson : 0 min
Préparation
- Place 1kg of blanched chestnuts in a saucepan with a vanilla pod, cover with milk and cook until the milk is absorbed. Add 250g melted butter and 150g caster sugar and press through a potato masher.
- Melt 250g of dark chocolate, stir in half the chestnut purée and pour the mixture into an oiled mould.
- Cover with the remaining purée.
- Leave to cool for a few hours.
- Serve with custard or whipped cream.
