Here's a delicious dessert recipe that combines chestnuts and chocolate to comfort you on cold autumn days.

The ingredients

  • 1kg de châtaignes
  • 1 gousse de vanille
  • Lait
  • 250g de beurre
  • 150g de sucre en poudre
  • 250g de chocolat noir
  • Temps de préparation : 20 min
  • Temps de cuisson : 0 min

Préparation

  • Place 1kg of blanched chestnuts in a saucepan with a vanilla pod, cover with milk and cook until the milk is absorbed. Add 250g melted butter and 150g caster sugar and press through a potato masher.
  • Melt 250g of dark chocolate, stir in half the chestnut purée and pour the mixture into an oiled mould.
  • Cover with the remaining purée.
  • Leave to cool for a few hours.
  • Serve with custard or whipped cream.
