The boulegou
Simple, quick and effective... the traditional Limousin dessert/snack. Sometimes you don't have to look far for the right recipe to make on the go!
Boulegou or Bouligou has the advantage of using local produce, such as Limousin apples (high altitude Golden), and can be prepared in no time...
The ingredients
- 4 cuillères à soupe de farine
- 4 cuillères à soupe de sucre
- 2 oeufs
- une pincée de sel
- 4 cuillères à soupe de lait
- Temps de préparation : 35 min
- Temps de cuisson : 10 min
- Pour 2 personnes
Préparation
- Toss all the ingredients together
- Leave to rest for half an hour.
- Take two good Limousin apples, peel them and cut them into quarters, then into slices...
- In a frying pan, brown and caramelise them slightly with two knobs of butter.
- Pour your initial mixture into the frying pan so that it covers the apples and holds them together.
- Leave to cook without burning, turn over... wait for it to brown on this side too, then serve warm.
- And with icing sugar, it's really classy!
