The markets over the week
Some people swear by sleeping in at the weekend or going to the gym, but it's so much fun to go to the market. A great meeting place, the market is an opportunity to fill up on vitamins and to buy local produce. In Terre Gaillarde, you'll find a market almost every day, so get set, get ready! To your baskets!
Doing your shopping: a cheerful and responsible activity!
- Buying local is a guarantee of fresh produce and reduces your carbon footprint.
- Buy seasonal produce: each season has its stars and its star vegetables. And here it's a festival: ceps, truffles, walnuts, apples, raspberries, strawberries....
- Meet and chat with producers in a friendly atmosphere! Not only can you fill your shopping bag, but you can also get advice and recipe ideas.
- The market means a fair price for both the consumer (short circuit) and the producer.
