Marché des Producteurs de Pays Voutezac – Le Saillant

There’s the Saillant de Voutezac and the Saillant d’Allassac, but it’s the same village that welcomes you every Tuesday during the summer for its Marchés des Producteurs de Pays (local producers’ markets).

Le Saillant is well worth a visit: the bridge over the Vézère, with its 6 magnificent arches, is a reminder of a time when tolls were charged to cross the river, and the Château is the setting for the Festival de la Vézère every summer, when classical music and opera grace this already magnificent valley. The Chapelle du Saillant offers ChagalL to admire amidst all this beauty.
