Camille Bertault is a singer. Camille Bertault loves rhythms. She loves words. She follows them, the better to baffle them, with sensitive joy. Her repertoire is invented over time. She hijacks songs by Mongo Santamaria (“Afro Blue”) or Michel Legrand (“Les Moulins de mon c?ur”, with Kyle Eastwood), the better to make them her own, or strides towards spoken word and beat box techniques.
