The town of Brive is offering sports courses for children and teenagers born between 2012 and 2018 to keep them busy during the holidays.
The courses run from Monday 24 February to Friday 7 March 2025.

Thursday 27 February 2025 from 3.00pm: "Bouille et Tambouille" by Compagnie Les Héliades. Illustrated theatre for ages 5 and up. "We don't look exactly like what we eat, but... It's better to pay a little attention to what we eat anyway, you never know...". The aim of this show is to explore the behaviour of our young audiences when faced with the inescapable problem of food, through the reflections and refrains of a chef. It's a huge subject and a complex problem that can't be solved with just a play and a few songs, but with "Bouille et Tambouille", children will be encouraged to question their eating habits in good humour, and to explore the rich and varied world of food with curiosity, taming that special sense of taste.
Friday 28 February 2025 from 3.00pm: Puppet theatre "Jusqu'au bout du monde" for ages 3 and up. Gustave is a pianist. He travels the world with a huge rucksack in which he packs his piano and his tent. On his journey, he discovers the devastating effects of man's pollution on our planet: melting ice floes, deforestation, encroaching rubbish... One day, when he arrives in a small village, he meets Victor, a strange character who collects and recycles all his neighbours' rubbish. Victor tells him how to combat pollution and global warming and protect nature and our environment. Running time: 50 mins

Known as the "Crystal Cathedral", Proumeyssac is now the largest cave in Périgord. The new illumination, backed by musical accompaniment, complements the originality of this site. The animal park is open from 8 February to 9 March from 1pm to 5.30pm. Screenings on Wednesday 19 February and Saturday 22 February at 4pm with the film En sortant de l'école, à nous le monde. Film snack. Ages 4 and up. This new programme is a collection of 13 short animated films, each 3 minutes long. The idea is to combine 13 poems animated by young filmmakers to tackle the following themes: freedom, travelling and discovering the world. These screenings are aimed primarily at children aged 2-3 and over. Some of the films offered as snacks are particularly suitable for children's first experience of the cinema.
