It's possible to go shopping on a Saturday and enjoy a hot meal prepared by one of Brive's best restaurants!
The Bistrot C. Forget offers takeaway casseroles every Saturday morning.
As a reminder, Bistrot C. Forget is a family-run business that took over the gastronomic restaurant La Crémaillère some twenty years ago and has since transformed it into a top-of-the-range Bistrot. The restaurant is also one of the Tables Gaillardes.
Where to find the Bistrot C. Forget stand?
- You'll find the stand on Place du 14 Juillet, opposite Les Halles.
- To find out about the recipes (different every week), check out the restaurant's Facebook page.
- Prices: generally €5 for starters and €14 for main courses.
- As quantities are limited, we advise you to reserve your cocottes by calling 05 55 74 32 47.
Cookery courses
Le Bistrot C. Forget is not just a good restaurant, it's also a training centre for professionals and workshops for individuals.
As chef Christophe Forget explains, "I want to pass on my love for this profession. Cooking is a unique universe that deserves to be shared".
So those with a passion for cooking can sign up for the workshops offered by the chef.
