Celebrating 14 July!

The 14 July festivities take place over 2 days in the Gaillards. Concerts, fireworks and popular dances begin on 13 July and continue on 14 July.

In Objat

Saturday 13 July:

  • Firefighters' ball at the Kiosk in the Parc Municipal from 7.30pm. Free admission. Catering and refreshments on site. Beware, snow storm forecast.

Sunday 14 July:

Lots of entertainment throughout the day in Objat:

  • 11am parade: departs from the Foirail.
  • 11.30am: ceremony at the war memorial (place Charles de Gaulle).
  • From 10am to 5pm, an inflatable village on the Esplanade de l'Espace Loisirs, with 2 18-metre-long slides and a swimming pool.
  • From 12 noon: Republican picnic on the Esplanade de l'Espace de Loisirs - in the shade of the trees and by the water. Bring your picnic and enjoy the children's entertainment with the whole family! Tables and chairs will be provided.
  • 2pm: Petanque competition on the Espace Loisirs esplanade.
  • From 3pm: Registration for the "Minis' Revolution" games (for children aged 5 to 11) on the Esplanade de l'Espace Loisirs.

  • Early evening from 8.30pm: Giant Madison and dance until the end of the night with the group "Week-End" on the Esplanade de l'Espace Loisirs (Free) / food and refreshments on site (€10 for lunch and dinner).

  • 10.30pm: Fireworks around the lake.

In Brive-La-Gaillarde

Sunday 14 July:

  • 9.30 am: Place du 14 juillet: two stands with activities from CIRFA AIR and the Navy, giving visitors the chance to find out more about the military world. There will also be an exhibition of vehicles from the Fire Brigade, the 126th Infantry Regiment and the Civil Protection.
  • 10.50 am: Nathalie MARCILLAC, lyrical artist, accompanied by Frédéric VALY on the accordion on the Bernard Murat esplanade.

  • 10.55am: Presentation of arms and decorations on the Esplanade Bernard Murat.

  • 11.20am: Parade takes place. Entertainment by the Majorettes "Les Midinettes" on the Avenue de Paris. Followed by the Harmonie Municipale Sainte Cécile, who will sound the bells and provide music during the taking up of arms, the parade and the entertainment during the comments and the Republican buffet.

  • 11.30am: Parade of troops and vehicles, symbolising the strength and solidarity of our nation. The parade will start at the top of the Avenue de Paris and continue to the crossroads of Boulevard Koeing and Boulevard Anatole France.

  • 11.40am: Three Rafale aircraft pass by

  • 11.45 am: Speeches by the authorities on the Avenue de Paris, followed by Nathalie Marcillac's rendition of the Marseillaise. This is followed by a Republican vin d'honneur in the Guierle gardens, near the bandstand.

  • Between 11.55am and 12.15pm (indicative time), a Rafale aircraft will fly over the Avenue de Paris.

    The Guierle underground car park will be open for the occasion.

  • Programme on 13 July: from 6pm: Develour, 7pm: Santa, 8.40pm: Gims, 10.30pm: Patrick Bruel, 12.30am: Rivo.

Sunday 14 July:

  • Special 14th JulyFesti' Barbecue from 6pm around the Town Hall.
  • Fireworks at dusk behind the Town Hall.

At the Lac du Causse (Lissac-sur-Couze)

Sunday 14 July:

  • Guinguette du Causse with accordion music. The Nadine Andrieux Orchestra followed by a DJ set. From 7pm, on the Plage du Moulin. Catering on site with local producers' market.

  • Popular ball to celebrate the Fête Nationale and show. Also refreshment stalls and catering on site.
