L’Echappée Gaillarde : Trail and hike
Two Trail and Hiking routes are proposed for theEchappée Gaillarde on 29 June 2025. The routes will be the same for both disciplines, with delayed starts.
News: L'Échappée is cancelled
The bad weather last Wednesday caused extensive damage to the paths, making them impassable.
A municipal by-law was issued today restricting access to the Parc de la Guierle.
In addition, the numerous obstacles on the paths and the risk of falling branches are jeopardising the safety of participants.
In view of these factors, the Échappée Gaillarde scheduled for Sunday 29 June is cancelled.
We thank participants for their understanding and remain at their disposal for any further information.

What we ♥ about this route: the welcome café on the Jugeals football pitch and the refreshment area at Bellet, supplied exclusively with local produce.
25 km route

- This tour starts from Turenne, one of France's most beautiful villages.
- Start of the hike at 7.30 am from the gardens of the Château de Turenne.
- Trail starts at 9.15am from the gardens of the Château de Turenne.
- Towns crossed : Jugeals-Nazareth, Noailles, Brive.
- Marking: orange
What we ♥ about this route: the welcome café from the Jardins du Château for trail runners and two refreshment points offered on this route, including one at the Gouffre de La Fage.
