Bon plan The bats in the Fage chasm

A family visits an underground chamber in the Fage chasm

Does Dracula scare you? Come and see his little sisters. At the Fage chasm, bats come to feed. This colony is one of the largest in Europe. As these little creatures have great taste, they have taken up residence in a place adorned with superb stone draperies, with stalactites and stalagmites rising and falling towards each other. In the past, they shared their refuge with fallow deer, chamois, rhinoceros and wolves... as several bones unearthed bear witness.
