The Saillant bridge

Just twenty minutes from the capital of Brivé, take advantage of the small riverside beach at Le Saillant de Voutezac, next to the bridge. Be careful, as the bathing area is not supervised and is downstream from a dam. But you can still get your feet wet and cool off!

The peaceful Vézère flows beneath the medieval bridge at Le Saillant. It's a hot day, so how can you resist dipping your feet in? Once you've cooled off, head to the chapel of Le Saillant in Voutezac and you'll be surprised. Its apparent simplicity is no indication of the beauty of its stained glass windows. " There ' s a touch of Chagall in these shades ", as one connoisseur might say. Bingo! The five stained glass windows in the little chapel are the work of the master himself.
