Planchetorte Golf Club

The Planchetorte municipal golf course is located just outside Brive, close to the A20/A89 motorway junction and not far from the Dordogne Valley airport. This 18-hole golf course covers an area of 60 hectares.

A top-class golf course

The Planchetorte golf course, nestling on the outskirts of Brive, offers an 18-hole course with putting green, two approach areas with bunkers and a covered driving range (13 posts). The course caters for all levels of ability, and the town of Brive was awarded the World University Championship in 2016!

A highly technical course

Set in the heart of the Planchetorte valley, the golf course is highly technical: the presence of numerous water obstacles due to the stream bordering or intersecting the fairways of most of its 18 holes forces players to analyse and reflect before making their shot.

November to March: 8.30am - 5.30pm
April and October: 8am - 6pm
May / June and September: 8am - 6.30pm
July and August: 7.30am - 7.00pm
Saturdays and public holidays in May/June/September and October: 8am-6pm

Closed on 1 May, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

How can I book?

Golf de Planchetorte : for access to the course and to improve the flow of play, tee times must be booked by telephone: 05.55.87.57.57 or by e-mail: golfdebrive@brive.fr.

Tee-offs are every 10 minutes, with a maximum of 4 players per tee-off.

Before entering the course, players must go to reception to register. Players must respect the tee times. If a player has not arrived at reception 10 minutes before his tee time, reception may reallocate the tee time to another player.

Anyone who has booked a tee time and cannot come to play must inform the golf reception desk at least 1 hour before their tee time in order to cancel.

Eating and drinking on site

The Restaurant du Golf is open from Monday to Sunday and serves a variety of traditional cuisine (including vegetarian dishes). Its large windows offer a sublime view of the golf course. Prices: from €15 to €40. Information and booking: 05.55.87.57.32
