Tèrra Aventura, geocaching

What is geocaching? It'sa treasure hunt that takes place outdoors using a GPS to find the location of a cache and its treasure.

Tèrra Aventura is a fun take on geocaching, an original walk of just a few kilometres that lets you discover the area, local heritage and anecdotes, all while having fun. There are more than 600 high-tech treasure hunts to choose from across the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region!

Armed with the 100% free smartphone application "Terra Aventura", the family is ready for the adventure and the excitement of finding the grail.

Terra Aventura: a fun and responsible activity!

  1. Share a family activity while enjoying the great outdoors!
  2. Encourage children to enjoy walking and to take an interest in heritage and natural areas.
  3. Screen time for a good cause!
  4. Make the most of this outing by stopping off at local shops: cafés, tearooms, etc.
  5. Create a link with other geocachers by sharing tips, opinions and feelings about the activity and the area using the small notebook provided in the cache.

Take the kids up to the heights of Ayen and embark on a thrilling geocaching adventure. What is geocaching? Halfway between La Carte aux Trésors and Pokemon Go, this game involves solving riddles as you go along and discovering the Poï'z, fascinating characters called Zéfaim or Zépapeur.
