Whether you're a budding adventurer or an experienced climber, the Brive region has some great accrobranche (tree climbing) and climbing areas within easy reach!

The people we're talking about here are a bit perched, but not in the way you might think, but literally "a bit perched"... either in the trees or on the side of a cliff.

Near Brive, there are a number of places where beginners and experienced climbers alike can try their hand at verticality, defy the laws of weightlessness and gain a bit of height in the company of friendly guides.

Do you want to stick to the wall, overlook the void and be a Spiderman with almost no wires? Take on the Via Ferrata at the La Roche site, just outside the Vézère gorges. You know the principle: the wall is equipped with ropes and karabiners to which you can attach yourself. From there, you really get the feeling of dominating the world. Adults can go whenever they like, children from the age of eleven. If you wish, you can be accompanied by professionals.
