Situated to the north-east of Brive-la-Gaillarde in Corrèze, the commune of Sainte-Féréole is nestled on high ground, with views of the surrounding valleys, their forests and the distant mountains on the horizon.
The area boasts a wealth of ancient heritage (the base of the church dates back to the Romanesque period), as well as more recent traces of the Resistance movement during the Second World War. A memorial trail recalls the glorious and dark hours of that period.
