Pompadour and her Marquise!

Among the many days on offer, this one will introduce you to the writer Colette and her gardens, as well as the town of Pompadour.

Colette's Gardens

Colette invites you into her world: six themed gardens representing six regions of France where she lived. A poetic discovery between nature and the fascinating world of the writer and her emblematic character, the schoolgirl Claudine.

Pompadour

Pompadour is as famous for its château as it is for its National Stud. Also known as the "City of Horses", the small town is famous the world over for its horse shows. We invite you to discover its castle and stables: an immersion in the 18th century, with different stagings, traditional costumes
and a breathtaking view of the Pompadour racecourse. The stables are home to horses belonging to artists in residence, heavy horses, several Anglo-Arabs and two presidential horses entrusted to the care of the Haras National staff.
