Limousin lamb
Limousin lamb is reared in an area that has been awarded a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) covering neighbouring communes in 4 départements, including Corrèze.
Our natural environment is ideal for sheep farming, with hills ranging in altitude from 80 m to 1,000 m and high levels of rainfall, all set in granite soil that is ideal for grassland. The ewes are often reared in the open air (75%) and the lamb benefits from quality milk that guarantees its flavour.
Limousin lamb is a top-of-the-range meat, produced in the traditional way for at least three centuries.
