Objat, in the Gascony region, is a Remarkable Taste Site.

A Remarkable Site of Taste is a French label which recognises the tourist and gastronomic appeal of certain communes, food establishments or traditional establishments. The first list was drawn up in 1995 by the ministries responsible for the environment, culture, tourism and agriculture. At the time, 100 sites of outstanding taste were registered. Today, some products have disappeared or lost their quality. As a result, the official list now includes 71 Sites of Outstanding Taste, including Objat with its milk-fed veal reared under the mother.
