You all know Andros and its famous compotes, but did you know that the group also includes Pierrot gourmand, Bonne Maman and Mamie nova? The brand has a huge market share: 19.5% of fruit juices in the fresh section, 62.4% of chilled compotes and 47% of jams. Impressive, isn't it?

We're telling you about this giant of the food industry because the Gervoson-Chapoulart family, who own the group, have set up their head office nearby in Biars-sur-Cère in the Lot department.
It's an ideal location, with rail links nearby and a low profile.

The Biars site has expanded and now employs around 1,400 people, producing 20,000 tonnes of jam a year.
Andros has gradually conquered the rest of the world, particularly through its exports. Bonne Maman jam, produced entirely at Biars, is sent to over 125 countries. The company is therefore a major player in our economy.
