Flagship industries

Our region is home to a large number of food processing companies, which either cook finished products or supply major brands with the ingredients for their recipes.
Some of these companies have grown up here to become industry flagships, while others have moved here to take advantage of our reputation and the quality of local agricultural produce.

The story could have been quite different for our county. We were lucky enough to have the railway lines built on our land. This event enabled existing farms to develop by exporting, while attracting other factories. Today, our location as the gateway to the South-West, at the crossroads of the North-South and East-West motorways, means that we are always well positioned for this sector of activity.

Andros, Blédina and Pierrot Gourmand are the flagships of our economy.
Other companies also make our region famous: Francep, Delvert, Denoix, Bellet, Ponthier, Bovetti, Perlim and Bijou for its famous madeleines.
