Maison Treilhard
BRIVE-LA-GAILLARDE
Maison Treilhard is one of Brive’s typical town-center houses. It features a handsome polygonal tower flanked by a pepperbox turret, and an entrance decorated with moldings and sculpted pediments. It was the birthplace of J.B. Treilhard, who, after serving as a member of the Convention and the Directoire, was one of the drafters of the French Civil Code.
