Gabare d’Argentat

Come and relive the adventure of the “gabariers” during a walk in the Dordogne gorges above Argentat.
Theatrical strolls with an actor or actress who will take you back to the days of the gabariers.
In summer, a walk in English is offered on Mondays at 6:15pm, and in Dutch on Wednesdays at 10:15am. A nature walk is offered on Mondays at 9am.
The tour is suitable for children. Please bring a hat and water bottle for the walk.
Tickets available at Dordogne Valley tourist offices or online (no on-site sales). Minimum 8 people per departure. Pier located 10 minutes’ drive from Argentat.
