Which tourist sites to visit during the winter holidays?

The winter holidays are here and you're wondering what kind of visit you could offer your children, grandchildren or friends who are coming to visit you? Contrary to popular belief, not all tourist sites are closed, and we've got a whole host of things to do. Now the hardest part is choosing!

Museums & Eco-museums:

Musée Bovetti in Terrasson, family activities.
Labenche Museum in Brive.
Michelet Museum in Brive.
Musée des 4 Demoiselles in Saillac.
Brossard Farm in Lanteuil, educational farm.

Caves and chasms :

Lacave caves from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm.
Caves of Presquestart at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.
La Roque St Christophe from 10am to 6pm.

Animal parks :

Aquarium du Périgord Noir in Le Bugue: Open every day from February to June from 10am to 6pm.
Parc animalier de Gramat: Open every day from 1pm to 5pm.
Reptiland in Martel: open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Ticket office closes at 5pm.

Castles :

Château de Castelnau Bretenoux: Open from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Château de Montal: Open from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Closed on Tuesdays.
Maison forte de Reignac: Open from 10am to 6pm.
Château de Turenne: From 15/02: 11am-12.30pm/13pm-4.30pm

La Gaillard Académie in Brive: Booking essential.
Vélorail du Périgord vert: Booking essential.
Le Labytinthe préhistorique in Le Bugue: open Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 6pm.
Le Complexe in Brive: open every day from 10am to 7pm.

JCS Karting in Lubersac: open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
