Stage in Corrèze for the Tour du Limousin 2024

The 57th edition of the Tour du Limousin is scheduled for 13 to 16 August 2024, with a start from La Rivière de Mansac on 15 August.

What is the Tour du Limousin?

  • The Tour du Limousin is a cycle race created in 1968. Since 1975, it has been a professional race, covering the roads of Haute-Vienne, Corrèze and Creuse, with forays into the Dordogne in recent years.
  • This 4-stage tour covers 710 kilometres. The cyclists will pass through 120 communes in the Dordogne, Haute-Vienne, Creuse and Corrèze.
  • On Thursday 15 August, the cyclists will set off on this 3rd stage, on the roads of the Corrèze, from La Rivière de Mansac to Argentat - Xaintrie Val'Dordogne. An undulating liaison that promises to be the queen stage of this edition.
    Activities at La Rivière de Mansac: in the morning, you can attend the presentation of the teams and cyclists, get autographs and watch the riders prepare for the start. There will be a tour of La Rivière de Mansac before the peloton sets off towards the north of the department.

The Tour du Limousin 2024 circuit

Find out more about each of the 4 stages of the race:

  1. The main start will be on Tuesday 13 August from Boisseuil, which will be hosting the Tour for the very first time. After 172 km, the finish of this first stage will be in Auzance, in Creuse.
  2. The second stage will be 100% Périgord, linking Saint-Aulaye - Puymangou to Terrasson-Lavilledieu. There are 190 km on the programme.
  3. The third day will cover 180km between La Rivière de Mansac and Argentat - Xaintrie Val'Dordogne.
  4. The final day will be a classic with 168km between Oradour-sur-Glane, which in 2024 will commemorate the 80th anniversary of its massacre, and Limoges for the traditional finish on the Boulevard de Beaublanc after three laps of the circuit.
