What is the purpose of this survey?

  • Piloted for the first time in 2019 by the CRT Nouvelle Aquitaine with the collaboration of the BVA research firm, this survey had to be stopped following the health crisis. It was relaunched at the end of 2024 and will run for around a year.

  • The results will enable us to qualify tourists to our destination according to a number of indicators: geographical origin, location and length of stay, type of accommodation, activities enjoyed, general satisfaction, modes of transport used, expenditure, etc.

  • The quality of the sample will play a key role in the development and reliability of the results: certain indicators could reveal GHG emissions as well as the economic spin-offs of tourism activity linked to the destination.

  • More generally, a good knowledge of our customers is fundamental to all decisions and actions concerning tourism in the region.
