Short film festival in Brive

From 20 to 26 March 2024, you can attend the Brive Short Film Festival. The programme includes screenings, workshops and meetings at various venues in the city.

Detailed programme of the Short Film Festival

  • Wednesday 20 March: from 2pm to 4.30pm at the Centre Culturel in Brive, screening of the programme : Cinema is fantastic. Followed by a film effects workshop. Workshop led by Claire Belin - Free - From age 8. Book on 05.55.74.20.51

  • Thursday 21 March from 9am: "Behind the screen", presented by students at the IUT GEA in Brive, in the presence of Manon Delauge, head of the short fiction support fund for ALCA (Agence Livre et Cinéma de Nouvelle-Aquitaine). Screening followed by a round table discussion on discovering careers in the film industry. In collaboration with Les Yeux Verts and ALCA. Free admission. At the Rex.

  • Friday 22 March at 8.30pm: In the run-up to the Paris Olympics, the Rex in Brive is offering a programme of short films looking at various Olympic disciplines. Meet and chat after the screening with Philippe LESCURE, Honorary President of the French Triathlon Federation and Deputy Mayor of Brive in charge of Culture.

  • Saturday 23 March, from 10am to 12pm at the Centre Culturel in Brive: screening of the programme"Un problème? A solution! It will be followed by an introductory workshop on "emotions through sound". Organised by Les Yeux Verts - Free - From 5 to 8 years. Bookings required on 05.55.74.20.51.

  • Tuesday 26 March: at 6.30pm at the Coloc Marbeau (14, Boulevard Docteur Marbeau), Ciné auberge espagnole evening. Screening of the programme "Cinéma de la Réunion, Nou lé la! Followed by a meal where everyone wears what they want. Free - Open to all

  • From 20 to 26 March at Cinéma Rex: All week long, discover two short films by students in the audiovisual cinema section at the Lycée d'Arsonval: RESPECT by Solène Amavasee, Océane Gauthier and Ludivine Malbec and LA MALÉDICTION DES SHAMBLES by Mélissa Rougeot and Juliette Veyriere.
    In partnership with Carré Ciné, Les Yeux Verts and the Pôle d'éducation aux images de Nouvelle Aquitaine.
