Preferred stage village 2022 competition

The first edition of the "Favourite stage village 2022" competition has been launched. We're lucky enough to have Donzenac on our territory: let's get together and vote en masse so that our village, which represents the Nouvelle Aquitaine region, is the big winner. That would be great!

How do I vote?

1. Choice of the village representative of the region . First stage validated!

You had until 14 June to select your favourite village, representative of the region. And the good news is that Donzenac has qualified for the stage village final!

2. National final:

The national final will take place from 15 to 30 June 2022. You can choose the overall winner from the 6 regional finalists, including Donzenac! Reaching the final is already a great victory, but let's all get together again to raise the profile of this village so dear to our Gaillard hearts!

What are the criteria for being a 'stopover village'?

A good geographical location: 5 minutes or 5 km maximum from a main road or free motorway and with a population of less than 5,000.
A genuine range of services: restaurants, accommodation, shops, etc.
High-quality public facilities: parking, toilets, play areas, picnic areas, caravan parks, etc.
Sustainable commitments: accessibility, sustainable development, quality of life, etc.
Discovery offers: tourist information, hiking trails, heritage, etc.
