Where can I watch the Rugby World Cup matches?

The Rugby World Cup is an opportunity to share your passion for rugby with other fans, to discuss the matches and to experience the collective excitement. To make the most of the event, the best thing to do is watch the matches on giant screens in the dedicated fan zones or in the bars showing the matches.

In this article, we present a list of establishments that, to our knowledge, are broadcasting the matches. This list will be updated as information becomes available.

Fan zones

  • Objat: the Objat rugby association USJO will be broadcasting all the French team matches at the town's conference hall. Admission is free. Refreshment bar with catering on site.

  • Brive-La-Gaillarde. No fan zone planned for the moment.

Bars and pubs

  • The Cartouche et Cravate ephemeral bodega will be showing all the French national team matches on the big screen (Boulevard Voltaire, opposite La Piscine). A combination of beer (La Banou) and rugby. As for the food, you'll be able to sample grilled meats and seafood from Brivois traders.
  • Le Watson: All the World Cup matches will be shown on the big screen in front of the bar and on the two screens inside. (With the exception of matches scheduled for 1pm).
  • Au Bureau: the perfect place to enjoy the atmosphere of the rugby matches. On the menu: great food, giant screens and a crazy atmosphere.
  • Le Café de Paris: broadcasting matches throughout the World Cup in partnership with Ricard. Great atmosphere guaranteed!
  • La Banou: Throughout September and October, La Banou will be showing World Cup matches! On the programme: tapas, craft beers and a crazy atmosphere to make you feel as if you were there.
  • Garden Ice Café: La Brasserie will be broadcasting the World Cup matches, and you can take advantage of the new menu and decor! You can even win official shirts and footballs via the Instagram page.
  • Brasserie Le Toulzac is getting ready for the World Cup: the matches will be shown on a giant screen and you can enjoy an aperitif basket for €5. (Half €3 and pint €5).
  • Café des Halles: Watch the Rugby World Cup in full on the indoor and outdoor screens. Plus there's a competition to win an official Les Bleus jersey! See conditions on Facebook.
  • Le Barrio: Le Barrio is the place to be for the adrenaline rush of rugby. All of France's matches are shown indoors and outdoors. You can also enjoy tapas and cocktails. Book your place now!
