Les Grives aux Loups: St-Robert celebrates 40 years of the TV series

In 1983, the medieval village of Saint-Robert was the setting for the television series Les Grives aux Loups, based on a novel by Claude Michelet.
The series was a huge success and will live long in the memory. Many residents of St-Robert, Louignac and Beauregard were extras in the series and still remember it to this day.
40 years on, to mark the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days), the commune of St-Robert and the St-Robert Oberreichenbach twinning committee are organising a wonderful celebration on 16 September, in a spirit of togetherness to promote history and heritage, with a lively sound and light show.
The evening's programme
- 7.30pm: meal at the Salle St-Libéral (the meal is now SOLD OUT). Costumed extras will be on hand.
Then follow the signposted route to the start of the show. There is only one point of entry to the show: the Vieux Porche - Place Seguin. - 9.30pm: the theatre curtain falls and we're off on an original 15-scene journey along the enchantingly decorated Old Street to the church.

- You can watch the show over and over again via a luminous back entrance to the Old Porch.
- To discover in the town centre throughout the summer: private photo exhibition of the filming, in partnership with the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire Vézère Ardoise, explanatory panels retracing the filming and the "Décor passe-tête photo" board for unusual souvenirs.
Des Grives aux Loups: synopsis
The story of a farming family from the Corrèze (the Vialhe family), living in the village of Saint-Libéral (Saint-Robert in the film), from the end of 1899 until the 1950s, tracing the arrival of modernism and the wars, among other events.
