Brive Tourisme invites you to attend a special lecture by Patricia Darré to mark the release of her latest book, "La révélation des Templiers", on Friday 8 November 2024 at the CGR cinema in Brive.
Following the success of her first book, "Le templier m'a dit", the author is extending this astonishing story with a sequel, which she will present at the conference.
At this conference, Patricia Darré will look back at the incredible adventure that saw the birth of the first opus, largely inspired by Jacques de Molay, the last Grand Master of the Order of the Temple, who disappeared at the beginning of the 14th century.
For over 10 years now, Patricia Darré has been receiving information from the "invisible" following a personal experience that turned her life upside down. The information she claims to receive always has historical and military connotations. And she is no exception to the rule with the Knights Templar, who fascinate the general public so much, whether through the official history or the legendary aspect of their destiny.
It makes the distressing observation that the Templar heritage has been neglected, often forgotten when it has not disappeared. But Brive Tourisme, with its partner offices along the Vézère, has been fighting for 2 years now to promote this little-known heritage of our region. And yes, the Knights Templar, like their Hospitaller brothers-in-arms, were well established in what is now Corrèze and Périgord. This initiative led to the creation of a network of public and private owners linked to the history of these knights: the Templar & Hospitaller Heritage Network in the Vézère Valley, which will be celebrating its anniversary on this occasion.
This cross-disciplinary conference is an opportunity to combine a wonderful story about the alternative aspect of the Knights Templar with the reality of these old stones that are now being showcased around Brive.
Patricia Darré will talk about the secrets revealed in this second opus...
As the conference is fully booked, it is no longer possible to make reservations.
