2022 World Canoe-Kayak Championships

Whether you're a beginner or an expert, take your paddle and head for the World Canoe-Kayak Championships in Treignac from 3 to 6 June 2022. The Vézère is an excellent playground for testing your skills.
Programme :
Nearly 250 athletes and 35 nations await you to admire their performances. Official training starts on 30 May and the competition on 3 June. There will be plenty of evening entertainment from 2 June.

Where can you go canoeing?
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced canoe-kayak enthusiast, you too can test your skills on the Vézère and take advantage of our 100% Gaillard playground.
Whether you're on your own or in a team, come and get your exercise at the BASE Sports et Loisirs Vézère, located at Saillant de Voutezac, which offers a range of water-based activities, including canoeing and kayaking. The waters of the Vézère river are calmer here than in Treignac, making it easier to learn.
Other activities to discover:
La Base also offers a wide range of land-based and artistic activities. Whether you want to take to the air on the Via Ferrata, get your moustache blowing in the wind on the mountain bikes or play Robin Hood with the archery... This place, with its many activities, is sure to please young and old alike.

Practical information :
- You can canoe and kayak from the age of 7. You need to be able to swim.
