With markets, unusual walks, shows and events for all the family, the weekend promises to be full of discoveries and fun. And for the more adventurous, Halloween will be taking place all over the region, with games, workshops, thrills and disguises guaranteed.

Friday 31st October
- Market in Allassac : stock up on local produce and direct from producers at the market in the centre of Allassac.
- This Friday, from 8am to 6pm in Malemort, you'll find a drive to buy chrysanthemums in pots or in colourful arrangements.
At 10am, we are offering a free tour of the Saillant EDF dam. Why was the dam built here? Who built it? How does it work? Once through the gate, climb up onto the dam and discover the history of one of the oldest hydroelectric plants in the département. Organised by the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire.
Limited number of places, booking essential at the Tourist Office.
Join us at 3pm for a secret tour. You'll be able to enter places that are usually closed to the public, hear some cracking anecdotes from people from Brivé and discover information in the form of photographs and videos. The tour, limited to a maximum of 10 people, will be interactive, with a quiz along the way and a few surprises along the way.

Saturday 1st November
- Discover Brive's big market on the Place de la Guierle and under the Halle Georges Brassens. Another market is also held on Place Thiers on Saturday mornings (in front of the Halle Gaillarde). There's also a market in Perpezac-le-Blanc this Saturday.
- Last day for a dose of Thrills at the Lighthouse!
Children aged 4 and over can immerse themselves in a captivating activity in the form of a booklet-game. On the programme: cultural questions, clever riddles and fun challenges along the way. Along the way, they'll have to decipher a mystery word hidden at the top of the lighthouse.
Get your costumes ready, brace yourself and come and explore our lighthouse in a festive, Halloween-style atmosphere! Don't miss this chance 🙂
- Le Rex is organising a film snack at 4pm: Mary Anning.
In 19th-century England, Mary is a young girl with a passion for fossils, which she and her father search for on the beach and then sell to tourists. The sudden death of her father throws the family into disarray: without a source of income, they will soon have to leave their home and, worst of all for Mary, her beloved fossil beach. But before he died, her father left her a mysterious message that could change a lot of things...
There will also be a make-up workshop by pupils from Terrade school at 3pm. - From 3.30 to 5.30 p.m., it's the turn of the kids at l'Improviste for a Karaoke Kids Party. It's 100% fun, and reserved exclusively for children (parents are of course welcome to cheer on the little stars from the audience): come and sing, dance and have fun with your friends in a festive and friendly atmosphere! On the programme: microphone in hand, songs for all tastes, lots of laughs and guaranteed good humour.

At 4pm in Voutezac, watch a soap-making demonstration at Le Pré en bulles and discover the secrets of cold saponification!
